Ring Ding Dong~

Hi! Look at what I found in the bathroom stall the other day!

Thursday, November 12, 2009

I should be writing essays here, and I wanna write them too. But how can assignments be so demanding one! Advanced diploma is crazy.

Yes, wait for my (very-very-very late) SS501 fanmeeting and Lee Minho's departure essay.

Monday, November 9, 2009

I need to start updating soon. I will. Definitely will. Cuz it's the assignment season.

Sunday, September 27, 2009

Have you ever been amazed at how civilized we humans are?

We can sit at the saloon for hours, letting people put chemicals on our hair, and not complain a word.
We can sit quietly and let the doctor insert a needle into us to get our blood.
We can endure the pain that comes with having braces, even if it means we can't eat properly.
We can insert coloured plastic in our eyes and get content at how nice it looks.

Amazing, right? Try doing that to a monkey.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

Yeah this is a lazy update. I was playing with my touch's TapWord app the other day.

Jay FTW!

I know I'm supposed to write about the meeting with SS501 but... lazy lah. Sudah weeks past anyway =S

Korea for Jay! Or Gay!

I will use the word "gay" as often as possible from now on. As nouns or adjectives I don't care. As long as it sounds right to me, ogay?

Seems like some childish tribute for Jay but I don't give a gay-ing care, at least until Jaebeom returns to gay Korea, because I'm starting to feel that using gay seems very gay, it's not a very compatible word like bloody or fucking.

What the gay hell am I talking about. Losing my jay mind.

For Jay,

I feel so helpless. I can't do a thing. My heart is broken. I'm just sitting here and lamenting, there's nothing I can do. It's hard for everyone, I have to accept the truth as much as I hate it. If it's this hard for me how hard would it be for them. I've been crying but I need to get back to my life. It's hard, it'll take time. This should not have happened, this should not be happening. I'm not sure what to do, what to believe in. I keep refreshing my twitter every few seconds, but alas miracle does not happen often. And he's really leaving for god knows how long. I would like to cry, but I'm stunned. It's all so sudden, no one's prepared for this, not even the proud nation which despised him. I'm sorry for not being able to do anything. I hate being in this state.

He says sorry, and bows. The clock strikes 6.30. Going, going and gone.

I don't care about the past, I'm hating the present, and I can only hope for the future. Will there be a future where I will see you again? Will there be 2PM with Jay again?

I need a non smudge eye-liner!

Gaaah I have 4 eyeliners in my make up drawer but all 4 are useless damn it! I have one each from Revlon, Loreal, Silkygirl and Elianto. I just realized this, all my eyeliners are in brown =_= Oh and apparently my mascara is in brown too. Not a big fan of black huh, I didn't even know it until now. And I thought I have at least one black eyeliner somewhere. Guessed I threw it away...

Anyway back to the topic. Introduce me some eye liners you people use please? First requirement NO SMUDGE! Preferably drugstore price and I only know how to use pencil, so yeah, choices are pretty limited. Right, now I remember, the black eyeliner I had was ink, that's why I threw it.

By the way I think some of you are gonna say try waterproof eyeliners, but they still smudge so yeah. I think it's the oil(?idunno?) in my eye creases that makes it smudge.

intro intro pls pls! If you read this but are too lazy to reply then you are not a friend. hmph.

P/S: Yan Sin happy birthday! =)
you are exempted from answering the above question if you feel like it!

Have you ever offered your seat to the elders, or people who need them when you're in buses or trains? We are supposed to do it, right? What if we didn't? I'll feel guilty if I don't, so whenever I see anyone who needs the seat, I'll offer it to them. But there are times when I do not do so. It's not like I discriminate them, but there are some instances, which just happened so.

For example, some Malay women wear baju kurung, and it's hard to tell whether they're pregnant or they're simply fat! If they're pregnant, of course I should offer them my seat, but if they're not, they would burn more calories while standing, so in a way, I'm helping them right?

Also, I sit public transport alone most of the time, and I try not to make eye contact with anyone, because I think it's rude to just stare at people, and embarrassing too when they catch you looking at them. So I stare at the floor and all I see are people's shoes and legs. I cannot tell their age or disability(s) judging from the shoe they wear right. When I get off the train only I realize the person standing next to me was an elderly.

What is your definition for elderly? People with wrinkled skin? Hunchbacks? People who look like they're sick? Over 50? What about people who are 50 but look like they're in their late 30s? I've seen OLs (office ladies), or in this case, OAs (office aunties), who look very fit and healthy. They can stand straighter than me while wearing their heels, and one hand holding on to the supporter while the other hand is preoccupied with a storybook. I don't think they need the seat right, although their skin is wrinkled and all that.

Sometimes I spot a pregnant women standing near the train doors, but it was too far away from me. I get up, walk towards her, and when I reach her, some imbecile has taken up my place.

Then there are cases where they don't want your seat. It's like they're trying to defy their age or trying to act cool while standing. Since I offered the seat, it would be paiseh if I sat back down, since I don't know if the fella seriously does not want to sit, or he's just trying to see if I was sincere in offering him the seat, or maybe he's paiseh to take the seat. So we both would stand beside the empty seat awkwardly, until someone comes along and take it up.

So, what's your story? Or do you even have one? I'm guessing some of you who read this do not take public transport, or do not care to bother.

I'm addicted to twitter. I check it every hour or so, when there's wireless connection around. I feel insecure (!) if I do not log in at least once a day. Then there's nothing left for me to blog about. It's all on twitter!

I love micro-blogging. Short short posts - totally my style.
Follow me @theyinying =)

Ewww I wish all the boybands would stop doing/parody-ing girl groups. They're just plain gay weird! It doesn't even look good on 2pm, who usually can pull off just about anything.

With the exception of FT Island's "Fire" rendition. That was good. Or should I say anything by 2NE1 is awesome.

I saved a person's life. i think.

Wooh messy much?

My blood, my blood!

I am happy to report that I passed my driving test today. FINALLY!

But it's not something to be proud of. pfft. I paid a high price for it. Literally.

I am not a good writer like dreamy I or frank C.

I do not have connections like friendly J or homely K.

I am not rich like pompous G or bitchy S.

I do not have men lining up waiting for my orders like socially-active C or Snow White L.

Who am I then?

My mom thought I was watching porn!

I was lying on my bed, while waiting for the picture to load on my old PC. When my mom came in she saw this.

I failed my parking test again.

I failed my parking test again. again. again!

I am mad, but not because I failed. I am mad because the lady invigilator a.k.a mak-cik-entah-pangkat-apa-tuan-besar was really rude to me.

So the ujian Bahagian 2 always starts with naik bukit right. There was this cone thing in the middle and I accidentally hit it, my car went out of track, and I thought I was a gone case.

But the encik invigilator was feeling benevolent today, and he let me tried again using another car (which was old and faulty by the way. The first car I drove was one of those few nice ones.)

I passed the naik bukit test, thanks to the encik who said he felt kesian for me, cuz it was not my fault that the cone was there. I thanked all my lucky stars, but apparently I used them all up.

Next stop was parking kan. Last time I failed at parking cuz I hit the tiang, without me realizing it. So the tiang went down, I went down with it. But this time, I was pretty confident, cuz it's my second time already mah, I know for sure I would not do the same mistake twice.

So I just reversed my car according to how I would normally do it, and apparently I was too greedy in reversing, my bumper touched the tiang. Read: touched, not hit. My car was already in the box, all I had to do was align it parallel.

I prepared to change gears to park it parallel, and the rude mak cik comes into the story. She was sitting in her booth, and said to me, "Awak sudah terkena tiang lah!" (You hit the pole!)

Hearing that, I assumed that at least one of the poles must have fallen, but strangely I did not hear the sound that comes when the pole hits the ground.

Any normal person's first reaction would be to check if it's true right. So I looked at my rear view mirror.

It showed me that all my poles are standing straight and intact. They did not even sway from my bumper's pressure, so that proves I really did not hit it hard. (Don't ask me how I know the poles didn't sway, I was looking at the rear view mirror the whole time, even when I was reversing, of course I know lah.)

I was confused, cuz the poles did not fall, why did she say I hit the pole? So I asked her, "Tak nampak tiang jatuh pun?" (How come I don't see any fallen poles?) I have to justify myself what!

She went mad at my question, and she actually budged from her seat to walk towards me. They normally just sit there and we are the ones who walk to them. She must have been waiting for this chance to exercise sambil scolding someone and that unlucky someone happened to be me.

"Awak keluar!" (You, get out!)

So I got out from the car, wondering what the hell is happening. By this time everyone was watching you know. There were people sitting at the pondok waiting for their turns and they became audience to my embarrassment.

She pointed at the car's bumper, "Tengok sendiri! Tengok!" (Look for yourself!) and I looked. And realized that her "terkena" actually meant touched - "tersentuh", not hit - "terlanggar".

Now that I know I did something wrong, I accept it wholeheardtedly, because it is my fault mah. Who to blame. One of the requirements stated that no parts of the car should touch the pole or knock it down, and my car bumper have obviously touched the pole, albeit gently.

So I tried to explain that I had misinterpreted her words, "Oh terkena... saya ingat tiang sudah jatuh." (Oh, I thought the poles fell.)

She gave me the "terbeliak mata" reaction. Eyes-popping out. And shouting, "Awak tunggu tiang tu jatuh? Awak mahu tengok tiang tu jatuh keh?" (You're waiting for the pole to fall? You want to see it fall?) I think I said something wrong in BM, cuz I don't understand why she gave me such a big reaction.

In such situation we normally keep our mouths shut right. It was supposed to be a rhetorical question, but she repeated her question. She was waiting for my answer. Timidly I said, "Bukan." (No)

"Kalau awak mahu tiang tu jatuh boleh, saya tolak saja tiang tu akan jatuh. Mahu tengok? Mahu? Awak tunggu tiang tu jatuh kan?" (It's easy if you want the pole to fall. I'll give it a light push and it'll fall. That's what you wanna see, right?)

"Tak payah" (No need, thanks). What else was I supposed to answer?

Shit. What is wrong with this lady?

And when I was signing the papers in her booth, saying that I accept my results, she kept blabbing it to her colleague.

"Budak nih, dah tahu terkena tiang, tak dengar-dengar lagi. Nak tunggi tiang tu jatuh! Cakaplah saya, kalau nak jatuh mudah je. Tolak sajalah kan?" etc etc etc and other Malay words illegible to my untrained Chinese ears.

So yeah, everyone who was present now knows that she has PMS.

P/S: Woah I wrote an essay -_- Don't think anyone would read everything, but if you did, thanks. Now you know the lady has some serious issues going on too. And try not go to Hulu Langat for your driving test, if you can.

Life is so depressing I could make a movie out of it and you could still see depression finding a way to seep through. Such a big joke. The greeds of human are scary. All the things I wanted are backfiring completely. Even watching my "inspiration videos" makes me hate myself even more. fuck.

someone make me happy please. I need the correct answer.

I don't think it's PMS.

I NEED to have two sets of timetables.

One (the real one) is for me, when I go around college.

Another one is for my mother's reference, which is almost like the real one, only minus the 8am classes.

I should go make the extra one now. Never mind the fact that I just told my mom I have class at 8am tomorrow. I mistook the timetable that was for another group, not mine.

Nothing is going the way I want it in life. Even IE is bullying me by refusing to sign me in to blogger.

I don't mind being alone sometimes, but I hate the feeling of being left out! It makes me feel totally, utterly worthless. This girl wonders how long does she have to live like this.

I am a happy girl.

My brother will be back today after two months away from home.
And I will get my iPod soon.

But iPod or no iPod, I'm still a happy girl because... 2PM is coming to Malaysia! I'm so taekcited! To the point that I can't think of anything else. I was trying to put on moisturizer when I realized I had sunscreen in my palm.

Christmas has come early and JYP is Santa Claus. I hope he's not lying.

Sek Kee if you're reading this, I wish you Happy Birthday! And good luck with your exams!

What's with the songs with repetitive one syllable(s)?

There's So Nyeo Shi Dae's gee gee gee gee gee/no no no no no.
And Untouchable's oh oh oh oh oh.
And now 2NE1's I don't care eh eh eh eh eh.
Oh yeah, 2NE1's mi mi mi mi mi mi michigoshipo.

I love them, but they're bad for my health, cuz they're too addictive!

I keep checking my assignment's word count hoping that it would magically turn 1000.

Sunday, June 28, 2009

My lecturer commented on my assignment draft.

"Draft looks fine. When writing your final draft, make sure you use your own words as far as possible, paraphrase when you can and do proper citation, attribute your info to the relevant sources or quote them. There will be an anti-plagiarism software that will automatically scan your doc when you submit your soft copy via CeL."

I used minimal reference in my draft, and my points are all off the top of my head. But still it looks like a plagiarized work. What does this imply?!

R.I.P Micheal Jackson

I've never realized this until today, but I've never seen his music videos before! Not even one! He was known for his dance moves and music videos like Thriller, but the only song I know (and like) is "You Are Not Alone".

What can I say? I'm not from that generation. I don't know how to appreciate his talent.

I visited my babysitter the other day and she handed me tons of pictures. Relics of my time with her. When I reached home, I looked at other pictures from my past. Thought I'd share it with you people =) Have a nice laugh at my silliness!

I think I look like an ang moh kid in here. Maybe it's the beanie.

And my hair colour has always been different since I was born. There's proof here okay. See it's not jet black one. By the way, I hope I'm licking on candy and not some stone I found on the floor.

Heh. Wannabe star. Damn sensitive to cameras.

Drama queen? =)

I always wore dress. Thanks to my babysitter lah, who bought them for me. Sadly I'm more to jeans now. And I don't smile like this for pictures anymore. Unless it's a candid shot.

Some performance during concert with Miss Poongku! One of the very few teachers which I can remember by their name. Was this junior 1 or 2?

Everyone looks so darn cute right. Aren't you guys glad I have these pictures =)

I showed my mom this and she said Jel looks so mature for a 10 year old ._.

Eh don't bother the face I drew on cuz I was childish and he was a freak.

Okay, I'm not a kid anymore, but this is one of the only pictures I have with my Japanese sensei. Edward sensei, I forgot most of Japanese sudah! Wasuretaimasu? Wasurete? TAN YEE IAN! Correct not?

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed watching 17 Again. That's an understatement. I LOVE IT! And this is coming from someone who's not a fan of Zac Efron. I love the story, not him lah.

He was hella cool in it, although I wouldn't say his character in the movie was any different from his HSM days, but I like him better here. Just not enough to make me want him badly yet. It's more funny lines for him, but still basketball and dancing. Go figure.

Watch it if you haven't. It's dead funny, period.

P/S: There's these weird people following me in twitter(!)

Tuesday, June 16, 2009

Awww... someone has got to stop using Ronaldo in their advertisements...

Isn't that too bad? =( How sad... Ronaldo no more. I won't get to take a picture with his face in MU's changing room ever.

Sunday, June 14, 2009

Hey Edison Chen coming to Malaysia lar! Anyone wanna go to Bangsar or the airport with me anot?! I really wanna see him!

Finally had a real trip to Melaka =) Thanks to our very efficient photographer these pictures were taken.

Memalukan saja. I failed my parking test lar! mf tiang!!

Thursday, June 4, 2009

WHAT THE HELL. What are friends for? And it's not like I'm asking you for alot. A friend could do just this much, isn't it? I'm not asking for the stars or anything.

Male species should just rot. Especially the unattractive ones. And if you're reading this, you ought to feel ashamed of yourself. Why are you the one who's angry when you were the one who provoked me? One helluva great modern sensitive guy which spells sissy.

I should not have been so naive as to thinking that people would treat me the same way as I treat them. I would have done it, if you asked of me.

Oops I Did It...!

Since forever, I have always talked to myself when I was alone. ALL OF YOU would not know this because, I repeat - I talk to myself only when I am alone. If any of you were with me, naturally I would talk with you. Makes sense, doesn't it?

You may wonder how I talk to myself. Surprisingly, I can talk more when I'm alone. I actually do role playing, and talk everyone's part out. I even talk in different voices sometimes. Yeah I can hear you shouting,

with finger pointing somemore.

But no, I'm perfectly normal thanks. It's just... something I do? I do it when I'm in the kitchen washing plates, when I'm watching TV, when I'm walking on the street, basically just when I'm alone lah!

Some time ago, a lady guest went on Star Golden Bell. And I found out that she does it too! She can even act out as many as 5 characters in one shot. I just role play around 2 or 3, at most. After seeing her, I guessed I'm not so weird after all.

Anyway something which I think is embarassing happened today. I got on a taxi at the train station, while the driver was waiting for other passengers (so the fella can collect a few person's fare with just one journey. It's an ingenious method actually, the driver can save petrol/gas cost and earn more money this way, while the passengers save cab fare because the drivers charge you less than the usual amount.)

Okay back to the topic, there was already another guy sitting in the front passenger seat, so I got into the passenger seat behind. The driver was somewhere gossipping with friends la. A few moments later, I forgot about the guy's existence, cuz he was just so still and quiet sitting there. He did not even fidget or anything.

And then, a white luxury car passed by. (don't ask me what car. I don't know. I barely know the difference between estima and alphard.) You know white cars lah, they get dirty easily right. But this car was so 반짝반짝 shiny and clean, it blings!

I just had to admire the car aloud. I didn't even realize what I was saying until I've said it.

I said, "Eh not bad. What a bright and shiny car!" or something along the lines of that.
In my head I went "fuck, what did I just do".

The worst thing was, the guy in front actually replied me. I forgot his reply, but I do remember staring at him in horror. I guess I was horrified at myself, for I was talking to myself unconsciously!

Wednesday, May 27, 2009

Okay wow. I'm watching The Green Mile and I hear my neighbour quarreling, in high decibels. I pause the movie and can't help but listen.

So this is what it sounds like when I'm quarreling with my mom. Cool.

"the" special one =))

Today is a special day. It's my birthday! And it wouldn't be as great as today for years to come... because I'm having both birthdays on the same day!

YAY!! *throws confetti*

Don't get what I'm saying?
Today (五月初二) is my lunar birthday as well. And according to every adult I managed to consult, this phenomenon is extremely rare. Holy shit. Must sleep early tonight and buy 4D tomorrow.

Despite the fact that it is 7pm (almost 8), birthday wishes are still coming in. Thank you people! Love you! *French kisses every single one of you*

colours and nightmares

I've been having nightmares for 2 consecutive nights. On any normal day I wouldn't be spooked out, but what makes them scary is the people in it.

The day before yesterday, I dreamt walking into my room, and saw JongHun (yeah, FT Island Choi JongHun) sitting in a corner, back facing me and hands holding a pair of scissors. I heard the snip-snap sound of the scissors and the floor was filled with bits of photos that were far beyond damage. The room was extremely bright, not by sunlight, more like artificial brightness (as if everything was white) but still eerie.

Then, JongHun turned and I saw in his hands a familiar picture which had been scratched and cut violently. He threw it aside and took another photo. I looked around my room and saw that the photos of FT that I stuck on my wall were all gone... and I realize with a sudden shock that he's brutally damaging his own pictures. OMFGWTFISTHIS?!

Yesterday night, I dreamt I was on a plane with no destination, and Super Junior (all 13 of them) were on the same flight. They're not even my favourite boyband in the world, why would I dream of them?! But I guess that's a good thing, because the plane crashed and everyone died. If it was FT or 2PM or even Big Bang in the plane, I dunno... I would cuss in sleep I guess.

Anyways, there were survivors lah. Me (of course), and Siwon (!) and a few other unknowns. Other 12 members of SuJu, dead. Even in my subconscious state Siwon is still my favourite huh? Eh I'm not making this up, it's true leh, I really had this dream. And then uh, Siwon went solo, cuz no more SuJu mah, all dead already. The weird thing is, I don't remember anything about me in this dream, only Siwon.

Oh wait, I guess this is not considered a nightmare, since Siwon is not dead.

Eh any SuJu fans reading this, it's just a dream okay. Relax, I like SuJu too. Just not as much as 2PM and FT.

Listen and you will see

What is wrong with the connection. It is slower than a Monday morning!!

Promised I'll upload pictures from Redang but got lazy. They're all on FB anyway. And I'm waiting for someone to get online so she could send me pictures from her camera, but no luck, haven't seen her online for a while. Maybe I'll edit this post when I catch her.

We (our large group of 16) went to Kuala Terengganu by plane, and sat the ferry to the island.

Boarding the plane.

Sunrise =)

The pak cik waiting for us in Terengganu, WITH MY NAME

On the ferry

Um.. we snorkelled most of the time. Played volleyball and Banana Boat as well. And very cliche-like, we buried someone in the beach. Nighttime we just walked around the island, saw "blue sand", they're coral eggs actually I think.

We're lucky lah, the abangs working in our resort were so kind, they went out of thier way to bring us around. They brought us far out in the sea when we were snorkelling, we wanted to see sharks mah, but no luck lah. They dived and caught quite a few "seafood" for us =) HAHAHAHA I have no idea what you call that in English. I only know starfish...
No this is not starfish. This is "hoi sam". Chinese New Year sure eat one.

Then they brought us to see baby sharks

If you can stand a little teasing, (you know some Malay guys lah, teasing is their way of life.) then it should probably be okay. I remember one of the abang kept saying he wanted a Chinese girlfriend. Then he told us his mom doesn't let him have tattoo or something. Another one heard us chatting and came over, telling us he has a tattoo. Being curious we asked to see his tattoo. He was already half-naked, and we cannot spot any on him. Then he pulled off his underwear a little, "tattoo kat sini. mau tengok?" ZZZZZZ no thanks.

Some of us went to play pool/snooker(?) at night, but not me. What for you wanna go indoor when you're already outdoor? So a group of us went to take pictures around Redang, and the abangs became our photographer (!). I'm still waiting for the pictures.

Spot the abangs. Eh but seriously speaking, some of them were very handsome. Not these lah.

Sunrise in Redang.

Nice kan, our legs? =D

The last day of our 3d2n trip. Everyone busy taking pictures.

Both pictures above looks nice right? Of course lah, I'm the one who took it.

This is not as nice as the ones above, because not I take one. It's only nice because I'm in it. =) You can see clearly how dark I've turned from this trip. My arms and legs are different shades from my back.

We went back to Kuala Terengganu by 11am and waited for our 9pm flight. So syok right. Whole day in Terengganu nothing to do. I was suffering withdrawal symptoms from Redang. I can feel myself bobbing up and down as if I'm still in the sea with a life jacket on.

Anyways, the very UNadventurous friends decided to lepak in KFC, cyber cafes, and Pizza Hut till 7pm or so until it's time for us to head to the airport. And me, like I said, why go indoors when you're already outdoors, walked around the town, taking pictures till my camera ran out of battery.

Eh what is Terengganu famous for? Ikan masin?
I have no idea, I simply ordered Bak Kut Teh for lunch.

My faithful friend who was up for the adventure and accompanied me.
Thanks ah, if it wasn't for you I'll be stuck in KFC the whole day.

Apparently this stick-food is only available in places other than KL. It's called Sagun and I felt like an idiot when I asked the vendor how to eat this.
The mak cik said, "buka, koyak, lepas tu makan" Very simple steps =_=
It's a powderish kind of snack, with coconut strips, sugar and peanut nibs in it. Dunno why but it smells like kuih kapit. Everyone from the KL group has never seen it before, while the others from Penang, Pahang and Johor looked at us like we were aliens. Yalah, kampung people eat one. Happy?

We finally made it to 7pm. Rotted in the airport for another 2-3 hours for our delayed flight. Had a fun trip! I give Redang thumbs up =) Eh by the way, the food provided in our resort were delicious! Maybe they add alot of MSG in it.

Something I "stole" from Redang. A rock shaped like my initial.

I have bruises all over my body. Clumsy me did not see where I'm heading, I just rammed my way around, hitting rocks everywhere.

And yeah, the sunburnt part.
Compare my hands and thighs. HUGE difference! practically black and white.
