hello!

I visited my babysitter the other day and she handed me tons of pictures. Relics of my time with her. When I reached home, I looked at other pictures from my past. Thought I'd share it with you people =) Have a nice laugh at my silliness!

I think I look like an ang moh kid in here. Maybe it's the beanie.

And my hair colour has always been different since I was born. There's proof here okay. See it's not jet black one. By the way, I hope I'm licking on candy and not some stone I found on the floor.

Heh. Wannabe star. Damn sensitive to cameras.

Drama queen? =)

I always wore dress. Thanks to my babysitter lah, who bought them for me. Sadly I'm more to jeans now. And I don't smile like this for pictures anymore. Unless it's a candid shot.

Some performance during concert with Miss Poongku! One of the very few teachers which I can remember by their name. Was this junior 1 or 2?

Everyone looks so darn cute right. Aren't you guys glad I have these pictures =)

I showed my mom this and she said Jel looks so mature for a 10 year old ._.

Eh don't bother the face I drew on cuz I was childish and he was a freak.

Okay, I'm not a kid anymore, but this is one of the only pictures I have with my Japanese sensei. Edward sensei, I forgot most of Japanese sudah! Wasuretaimasu? Wasurete? TAN YEE IAN! Correct not?

Oops I Did It...!

Since forever, I have always talked to myself when I was alone. ALL OF YOU would not know this because, I repeat - I talk to myself only when I am alone. If any of you were with me, naturally I would talk with you. Makes sense, doesn't it?

You may wonder how I talk to myself. Surprisingly, I can talk more when I'm alone. I actually do role playing, and talk everyone's part out. I even talk in different voices sometimes. Yeah I can hear you shouting,

SPLIT PERSONALITY DISORDER!

with finger pointing somemore.

But no, I'm perfectly normal thanks. It's just... something I do? I do it when I'm in the kitchen washing plates, when I'm watching TV, when I'm walking on the street, basically just when I'm alone lah!

Some time ago, a lady guest went on Star Golden Bell. And I found out that she does it too! She can even act out as many as 5 characters in one shot. I just role play around 2 or 3, at most. After seeing her, I guessed I'm not so weird after all.

Anyway something which I think is embarassing happened today. I got on a taxi at the train station, while the driver was waiting for other passengers (so the fella can collect a few person's fare with just one journey. It's an ingenious method actually, the driver can save petrol/gas cost and earn more money this way, while the passengers save cab fare because the drivers charge you less than the usual amount.)

Okay back to the topic, there was already another guy sitting in the front passenger seat, so I got into the passenger seat behind. The driver was somewhere gossipping with friends la. A few moments later, I forgot about the guy's existence, cuz he was just so still and quiet sitting there. He did not even fidget or anything.

And then, a white luxury car passed by. (don't ask me what car. I don't know. I barely know the difference between estima and alphard.) You know white cars lah, they get dirty easily right. But this car was so 반짝반짝 shiny and clean, it blings!

I just had to admire the car aloud. I didn't even realize what I was saying until I've said it.

I said, "Eh not bad. What a bright and shiny car!" or something along the lines of that.
In my head I went "fuck, what did I just do".

The worst thing was, the guy in front actually replied me. I forgot his reply, but I do remember staring at him in horror. I guess I was horrified at myself, for I was talking to myself unconsciously!

"the" special one =))

Today is a special day. It's my birthday! And it wouldn't be as great as today for years to come... because I'm having both birthdays on the same day!

YAY!! *throws confetti*

Don't get what I'm saying?
Today (五月初二) is my lunar birthday as well. And according to every adult I managed to consult, this phenomenon is extremely rare. Holy shit. Must sleep early tonight and buy 4D tomorrow.

Despite the fact that it is 7pm (almost 8), birthday wishes are still coming in. Thank you people! Love you! *French kisses every single one of you*

Heroes among us

Sometimes I wonder if I'm psychic.

I have this "ability" that helps me guess another person's intention. I can't say that I'm 100% accurate, but I can guess correctly most of the time. It may not be neccessarily aimed at me, even among my friends, I can tell what they think or want through their speech and actions. I have a very acute sixth sense, I guess.

Or maybe I'm just extremely intelligent =)

Anyways, I'm back from Redang, as you can tell. Saw lots of drool-worthy hot bodies. Yes, I mean the abangs working there. My next post would probably be full of pictures from the trip.

It's the whole world against me.

When someone - be it a friend or family, whom you know you can trust your life with - hurt you with their words and actions, without them realizing it, what do you do? Shrug it off? Pretend like nothing happened?

Or do you make it known that you feel angry and hurt at their seemingly innocent words, risking yourself look like an immature fool? And people will then assume that you have PMS every single day?

Sometimes you have to wonder if they really know you that well.

It feels far beyond disappointing.

It's not a dream

I was sitting alone in the park near my house just now, enjoying the weather, while eating my yoghurt. An hour or so passed, I remained seated and listening to songs from my handphone speaker.

Not long after, I heard motorbikes, and saw two Malay guys riding on one each, flying at terrifying speed (note: it's a housing area). They looked dangerous to me, so I tried to remain as inconspicuous as possible, trying not to move too much, and I paused the songs too.

No use lor, both of them saw and eyed me, but they were going too fast to stop, so they went straight ahead and I lost them in the corner. They were still eyeing me when they turned, so I think it's time I get running back home.

As I was at the junction, I heard the motorbikes again. OMFG they came back for me. I was scared shit. I saw them eyeing the place I seated a moment ago, and then started scanning places nearby while still on their motorbikes. I hid behind this huge tree (Thank god for trees with big trunks!) and luckily there were bushes and I was wearing green.

They were circling the place, and I was circling the tree to avoid them. I was still two streets away from my house, too far to dash home =( At length, they probably thought I was gone, and went off howling with laughter. After making sure they're not coming back I really RAN RAN RAN as fast as I could back home, and kept craning my neck to check every few seconds.

I'm safe at home now thank you. What the hell was I thinking when I was sitting alone in the park?
I have never once thought I would look forward to going back to college. But now, I am extremely happy that college has started! At least I get to escape home and mom for a while. They have become increasingly depressing these past few months.

Patience is virtue

I've learned from time and time again that patience pays off. Acting rashly on impulse, without thinking, just plonking myself headlong into a particular idea, object, or anything else for that matter... I would come to regret them sooner or later. For most of the time anyway.

I remember going shopping with this friend of mine, who had a particular shoe in mind that she really liked. She only saw it once on ebay or something, but she was intent on getting it in Malaysia. The shoe she had in mind was pumps, slightly round edged, with a strap across the middle. We went to lots of shops and saw lots of similar shoes, but she wasn't satisfied because it isn't the same.

I saw lots of pumps with straps across the middle, only a little slight difference to each of them. She saw one that she liked, but was sharp edged, so that was a no. Another that I pointed out to her, she disliked because it was peep-toe. Another we managed to find, was round edged, with colours she liked AND straps as well, but she complained the straps were in the wrong place. She wanted the straps half an inch higher near to her ankle. We went in to every single shoe shop in the nearby shopping malls, and at last found it. I salute her for her patience.

Oh wait, that's perseverance, not patience. Sheesh perseverance or patience they're the same to me. But it was good that she did not buy the other pumps we saw before, because it would break her heart when she found this perfect one.

Another time, she was hunting for an iTouch case. She went to some digital fair and this one shop had the case she really liked, but she did not have an iTouch at the time yet, so never buy lah. And by the time she bought it, the fair was of course already over, and... the same process happens all over. We went in to every single shop at Low Yat just to find the case I had never set eyes on before.

I was trying my hardest to be patient throughout her iTouch case quest, and when we finally found it, I was relieved and happy as if I myself had achieved something great. WTF it was just an iTouch case. If it was me, I would have settled for anything that looks nice, instead of finding "THE ONE". I worry for her future boyfriend, IF she has a boyfriend, because she would never settle for second best. She only likes Park Hyo Shin and Brian =S

Maybe I should learn from her, to be patient, and persevere. But then again, even Edward had to wait almost a century for Bella to come along. See lah, how happy Edward and Bella now. Patience really does pay off.

Almost Paradise... na na naaa~

*tap tap tap*
waiting for someone to get online...

This has been quite a productive holiday. For the otaku in me anyway. I finished watching Beethoven Virus. Caught up with the latest episode of Boys Over Flowers (HyunJoong with the JaeJoong-sexy-haircut, and I want Kim Beom's bangs back! RAWR!) Currently watching On Air. Done watching Forrest Gump, Mean Girls, Transformers, Catch Me If You Can, Mamma Mia, Nanny Diaries, and Twilight (for the N-th time). Caught a few episodes of Idol Show. Attended the boring KPP ceramah, but haven't really turned the pages of the ujian book.

Not bad, really. When else would I have time to do all these? And within the span of only a few weeks? Should I watch Hong Gil Dong or I Am Sam next? Oh right, Cain and Abel =) So Ji Sup is love. Song SeungHyun is growing on me too, I'm glad.

I give Slumdog Millionaire thumbs up! It's definitely worth watching. The storyline is pure genius, and the young actors/actress are lovable! It's the first movie I watched in cinema with no subtitles, yet still understand it perfectly (I have this bad habit of looking at subtitles even when I don't need them, I feel lost without them).

Before watching though, my friend dismissed Slumdog as "another Bollywood movie" with lots of sceneries and dancing, but agreed to watch with me. I was glad they didn't show any dancing ala Bollywood style in the movie, because I couldn't stand it too. I remember telling my friend in the middle of the movie, saying that "It's not a Bollywood movie after all, huh. Thank god there's no dancing".

But at the end of movie, where they show the rolling credits, they start dancing in the middle of the train station. Me and my friend looked at each other and simultaneously burst out laughing, which was embarassing cuz we were really loud, and it was supposed to be a private joke. The whole cinema was filled with Indians, and thinking of that, we shut up immediately. Oh my gawd I never felt so rude in my entire life before.

dentists are not scary.

Had to get three fillings at the dentists earlier today because the cavities have been killing me slowly the past week.

Like most people, I dread going to the dentists because they seem scary, with the mask over their face, and those razor sharp tools that they always hold in their hands. So it's not a surprise that I've never ever been to a dentist before.

When the dentist injected anesthetic in my jaw, I whimpered a little. But now that it's over, I think the anesthetic is actually lebih one lor! My mom had to get hers done as well but how come he didn't inject anesthetic for her?

Anyway the process was okay, listening to the metal grinding on your teeth. And you have no idea what's going on. I could fall asleep if the dentist did not keep asking me to open my mouth wider. It wasn't painful at all, dunno ada kaitan with the anesthetics or what.

After it was over I could not feel my tongue. Half of it is numb. That was fun! When I drank water, only half of my tongue could feel the coldness sliding through. I tried out all sorts of food, just wanna know what's it like to eat food without the sense of taste.

First I ate those Fruit Plus sweets, it was like chewing on gum which has lost its flavour.

Then I tried some ginger powder my grandma likes to drink, and that resembles sand.

I ate chocolates with nuts, the chocolate was like gooey all over your mouth, nuts are just like... nuts.

Tried biscuits, it's like some crunchy chewing going on.

Rice is just sticky after you chew it.

Chilli sauce is sticky as well.

Egg tofu is really soft.

And I should stop procrastinating. Presentation on Tuesday! Haven't started, not even the slightest idea what I'm supposed to do.

Oh Mr Wonka. Please help me secure a good grade this term ok =_=
