Patience is virtue

I've learned from time and time again that patience pays off. Acting rashly on impulse, without thinking, just plonking myself headlong into a particular idea, object, or anything else for that matter... I would come to regret them sooner or later. For most of the time anyway.

I remember going shopping with this friend of mine, who had a particular shoe in mind that she really liked. She only saw it once on ebay or something, but she was intent on getting it in Malaysia. The shoe she had in mind was pumps, slightly round edged, with a strap across the middle. We went to lots of shops and saw lots of similar shoes, but she wasn't satisfied because it isn't the same.

I saw lots of pumps with straps across the middle, only a little slight difference to each of them. She saw one that she liked, but was sharp edged, so that was a no. Another that I pointed out to her, she disliked because it was peep-toe. Another we managed to find, was round edged, with colours she liked AND straps as well, but she complained the straps were in the wrong place. She wanted the straps half an inch higher near to her ankle. We went in to every single shoe shop in the nearby shopping malls, and at last found it. I salute her for her patience.

Oh wait, that's perseverance, not patience. Sheesh perseverance or patience they're the same to me. But it was good that she did not buy the other pumps we saw before, because it would break her heart when she found this perfect one.

Another time, she was hunting for an iTouch case. She went to some digital fair and this one shop had the case she really liked, but she did not have an iTouch at the time yet, so never buy lah. And by the time she bought it, the fair was of course already over, and... the same process happens all over. We went in to every single shop at Low Yat just to find the case I had never set eyes on before.

I was trying my hardest to be patient throughout her iTouch case quest, and when we finally found it, I was relieved and happy as if I myself had achieved something great. WTF it was just an iTouch case. If it was me, I would have settled for anything that looks nice, instead of finding "THE ONE". I worry for her future boyfriend, IF she has a boyfriend, because she would never settle for second best. She only likes Park Hyo Shin and Brian =S

Maybe I should learn from her, to be patient, and persevere. But then again, even Edward had to wait almost a century for Bella to come along. See lah, how happy Edward and Bella now. Patience really does pay off.

Just because she said I won't do it then I SHALL do it. I'm just weird like that *sticks tongue out*

9. Britney looks weird to me. Her current nose, to be exact, looks weird to me.

10. I am so glad Galaxie has the Twilight poster. I wanted an Edward Cullen one, but Twilight is just as good =)

11. Ok this is kinda personal but I wish I had the courage to at least just talk to him. Don't ask, won't tell. This is not my New Year's resolution.

12. I like collecting money!!!

13. My closet has no black clothes. O_O Just realized it today, so amazing!

14. I hate show-offs. Like who doesn't, right? Right.

ya allah I am so proud of myself. I can solve the Rubik's cube! DON'T ask me to show it to you the next time you see me.

My mom was worried that I'm a lesbo when she saw how obsessed I am with the cube. According to her, only guys like to play "these kind of stuffs (aka the cube)". So if a girl starts playing it, then the girl = tomboy. So being a tomboy, will fall in love with girls, which somehow makes me into a lesbo.

I survived my week without internet! *applauds*

And now I have earphones plugged to each side of my ear although my Windows Media Player works perfectly fine just because I am used to listening songs from my phone.

Alot happened this week - to my life and others as well.

Let's see hmmm. Exams are over. Hello holidays! Time to rot. I dread months long holidays. Got nothing to do for the past week, decided to watch Money Not Enough 2. Regretted it. More than half of the dialogues were in Hokkien ._. I gave up after 20 minutes into the movie and walked off. WHAT LAH YOU THINK EVERYONE UNDERSTAND HOKKIEN AH

And err.. I did something which I had wanted to do for a very very long time. Close to 6 months since they came and left, and a little more than a year since I've known them. They've grown so much since then.

I truly believe they enjoyed their stay in Malaysia despite the misfortunes that happened. Crazily overprotective management and fans but still they managed to have fun. I'm glad, for serious. Because of them, I got to learn new things, see the different types of people, and made friends.

Guess what. My computer is as good as dead.

It was acting weird yesterday, so I thought it's sending me signs saying that it's growing old and gonna die soon. And I thought, okay since you're gonna die soon, why not die now? I always thought formatting your computer would be an easy task, so I asked my very kind friend who explained patiently to me on how to format it.


Great. It seems easy enough.


I formatted my C drive.


And I don't know what happened to it now.


I know la, when you format your computer all your files would be gone and it's as good as new (almost). BUT the thing with my computer is, the files are still there. but I cannot run it! It's like... it's been formatted, but it's not. Makes sense?


And the greatest news of all - NO INTERNET ACCESS. boohoo ='(

I'm stuck using my brother's computer from Japan. It's kinda hard. Everything is in Japanese - maklumlah, I quit Japanese class looooooong time ago. And the keyboard is weird... The caps lock doesn't work, the symbols are all different.

And I have to budge off before he comes home because he doesn't like anyone else touching his computer. I cannot watch We Got Married!!! Have to wait till my other brother come back from Penang to fix it because I am kiam siap and lazy to bring my #$%&? computer to the repairman.

P/S: I hope my brother stays with his girlfriend for the whole week.

Oh my astagahfirullah! I watched 21 episodes of WGM in my exam week.... That's like, an average of 3 episodes per day. Man, 3 hours++ of precious mugging time gone.

Yesterday's 2nights 1day was hilarious! MC Mong is so stupid la! I like Lee SeungGi and JiWon team =) I didn't know today's Open Concert had SuJu-H. I just switched on my TV and see them dancing happily to Pajama Party. And also performed with Kim Jang Hun. FT Island performed together with him before on Open Concert as well lor okay?! Which I also saw, coincidentally.

Holy cow! HongKi went to Egypt. Very dry and hot leh there. Eh? I thought I saved that picture down, where did I save it in ._. Couldn't find it to upload here.... Aish short term memory loss. On a VERY random note, the area around my eyebrow stings. Just plucked some stray hairs OUCH. Still red. I look like I'm wearing purple eyeshadow.

Anyway, just watched Family Outing which had GD on it. GD looks like he's way too cool to even be there, macam tak interested in anything one. Or maybe he's just born to be cool like that. And hor... he looks damn cute when he wakes up lor! I'm not joking!

Okay! MV is out!! JongHun + boxing = perfect match! At first I thought I wouldn't like their mature style as much, but after seeing the preview, I changed my mind =) They look hot! I find HongKi running in the field very funny. Like playing tag nia. MinHwan looks unnatural throwing drumsticks away! But I love how he shouts at the end. And how can WonBin look so nice with that cast! UNFAIR! But he would look better with another hair color. JaeJin's acting improved ALOT. Okay, all of their acting improved. Still getting used to the song. It sounds pretty normal to me. Not bad, might grow on it.

Just bought a Rubik's Cube. I must be crazy. I don't know what to do with it. People who can solve the Rubik is crazy! Mad genius. I've been playing with it for the past 3 hours but to no avail. ARGH! Hello I need money. I want an Adidas, Nike, and Converse shoe. I want that Topshop slipper. I want that Forever21 t-shirt. I want that neon watch. I want that MNG shorts. Haih why my birthday always so sien one.

Clearing files off my computer. Looked through the pictures of us in secondary school. My long hair :( My smooth egg-like skin :( Everyone looks different now.

Obsession

Someone, take away these evil cookies please!!!!

I swear I will not make anymore cookies unless necessary. I ate the whole jar of them in less than 24 hours >.<

Banana fritters somemore! In the middle of the night! Walao eh!

First my weight was 55 kg. Then after THE incident it plummeted down to 50kg in mere days. After a month or so it went back to 52kg and then somehow went back to 50kg I dunno what happen. And now it keeps fluctuating between those numbers. Changes everyday leh, scary!

I don't seem to have any willpower for exercise. I have stretch marks on my fat thighs !!! And I spend all my free time either in front of the computer or TV.

Anyway, can't wait to try out the cookie recipe from Carmen. Sometime soon. When I don't feel guilty of being unhealthy.

And my mother made a show yesterday night because apparently we did not look like we will do anything fancy on Father's Day. She has been influenced by the media.

I had a very happy Father's Day with my family members, okay. Blame my mood swings, not me =)

Feeling hungry?

Some fruit crepes for me =) Sorry, I only made 5. They look delicious, don't they? Like roti canai HAHA.

I gained 2kgs from all these recent late night snacks! Why do I have this urge to go make myself supper?! And all the zits are springing up like mad.

Need to sleep early. Need to stop eating high carbs supper. Need to exercise. Need to have a balanced diet.

Korean food fair

Life is so boring without Astro I tell you. For those who have Astro, treasure it!! You won't know what to watch on free TV channels once you have had Astro. It's the best damn thing Malaysian TV can offer you! I miss my Astro boohoohoo.... HOW DO I LIVE WITHOUT YOU oh KBSworld Astro kesayanganku.

Went to the Korean Food Fair in KLCC. Saw 라면s!! And pepero sticks. then realized I only have RM20 in my pocket ._. HOW HOW HOW? RM20 not enough la! ATM card comes to the rescue HEH. I am a noob with ATM card and machines. So paiseh la, the queue behind me as long as Sungai Rajang and I'm figuring out how to use the ATM machine.

Anyway, got my money and a lot of stares from other ATM users and went back to the food fair. Frenzy Korean food shopping time yeaaaa~ did not get my lemon cheese flavoured pepero sticks cause I don't have enough money. I only withdrew RM50 okay.

I bought some drinks.. WoongJin brand HAHA youngWOONG jaeJIN
Haven't tried them yet. Oh, might as well as try it now. The 꿀홍삼 Honey and Red Ginseng smells a lot like ginseng *smacks head* BUT, it doesn't taste like ginseng! I can only taste honey. Why call it honey and ginseng when you can only smell or taste one flavour at a time?

Ramyeons... Not much to choose from, only bought a few


Gochujang!! I can make my own 비빔밥 Bibimbap now!!
It's not too spicy, just ngam ngam for me =) Dunno la, maybe I didn't put enough gochujang in my rice. I only put like... half a tablespoon for a BIG bowl of rice HEH

And of course.. kimchi kimchi 김치!! What is Korean food without kimchi?
I find the tag hilarious. Fresh Kimchi? Hello, fresh and kimchi is not supposed to be seen together? It's supposed to be fermented yo.

Went around walking in KLCC window shopping and saw some really colourful sunglasses in TOPSHOP! Big Bang rules! Saw this in TOPSHOP as well
Nice hor? You can swing the bottom part of the anchor around one lei, don't play play. Seeing this reminds me of pirates and treasures =)

Eh by the way, when I got back home and watched Hangeul Island, I realized FT bought the same stuffs in the Korean supermarket! Kimchi, Gochujang, Ramyeon and that rice drink =)
